A Kid-Friendly Example with a Teachable.Moment

What could be more kid-friendly than "Thinking About the World with George," a Template Design Set.

George is an actual donkey (named George, really!)that lives in a ranchlet in Texas.

I'll admit I did get a laugh out of the possibilities after I wrote a blog post concerning Bush, but that Republican association was truely not the origin of the name of the image or the TDS.

I honestly see children making presentation files to be a practice in critical thinking. And teachers can use the title to lead in to lots of "What would George think about...?" questions. --Hey, it's a built-in teachable moment!

The original products sold here are presentation Template Design Sets with original clip art/graphics included in each set; lesson forms, databases and booklets for teachers; and freelance orders for writing, designing templates and forms, and graphics.

For our last product category, estores present products from a wide range of merchants. You could say that this site contains a mini-emall. I want to assure you that the majority of products were "chosen with teaching and learning in mind."

Shopping Carts

The Carts

VCCTI products in Template Artistry are sold with a PayLoadz shopping cart. Payment is made by PayPal, which now takes most major credit cards.

Widgets Science Lessons and a few other items are sold with the PayLoadz shopping cart on other webpages as a VCCTI Product or designated as from VCCTI. Just click the buynow button.

Picket Fence Friends products are purchased using the CafePress.com shopping cart.

Other products are purchased through the merchant's website using that shopping cart.

Privacy and Cookies

What that means to you is security in that these merchants have secure shopping carts, all protect your privacy, and each takes care of any necessay refunds and returns. I receive only a limited amount of information from PayPal and PayLoadz, and from CafePress.com for each purchase. (Hence, I ask you to register for a newsletter.) I assure you that any identifying data I do receive is kept confidential. Refunds are handled through PayLoadz/PayPal and CafePress, who hold the funds and notify me of a customer's dissatisfaction. I make contact with the customer through PayLoadz email system.

For freelance work, the BizReef escrow funds/shopping cart is a PayPal cart and works the same way, with contact made through the BizReef mail system. You need provide me with personal contact information only if you prefer.

It also means cookies. Cookies are how merchants know to pay me, the affiliate. Many are good for 30 days, some for 90 days. Please do not block the cookies. Both Amazon and Google use cookies that track a customer's preferences. This information is not shared with me. Nor is your address, name, and contact information shared with me as an affiliate.

Databases

We currently have two database templates for sale. Each is an Access XP database set up with a table of fields useful for teachers, an input form designed for ease of use and an output record ready to print on letter-size paper.

One is a Lesson Plan Database which, on request, I will modify to reflect the requirements of your school.

Another is the Examples database, which is discussed in the Ideas, Essays, and Computer Tips; and 1 page of a sample report is imaged.

You may download these samples now if you like. Just click on an image. Save the page or use the download link to get the file as .zip.

You may custom-order Access and Word database templates with an email request or through my BizReef account.

Presentation Files

*Being older, these pages might not be complete since new files are added frequently. These pages were also written before I learned to use CSS and while I was first learning to do webpages.

About our designs

Locate a presentation template or jpeg slide by the artist or photographer on which the design is based.
