I love to read. Books have shaped my world-view. Like all readers, I want to share my favorite readings with others. The internet has allowed me to expand my reading into white papers and e-books. Some of these might make the cut for my list of favorites from time to time. Maybe I should list favorite websites, too.

While I'm at it, should I mention favorite TV shows, commercials, and movies? No, this is not to become a blog just yet, although maybe in the future…

I live in Mississippi with my husband, my mother-in-law and my Sheltie. I visit my 4 grandchildren, whenever I get the chance. I see my 2 kids, of whom I am extremely proud, whenever I see their kids, but they both live many miles from Mississippi.

Once a military dependent, I have lived in many different states,Thailand and Cuba. Yep, I lived inGuantanamo Bay for a while--when I was a child.

After having taught college classes while in graduate school at LSU, I was an instructor of college biology for a year at MUW. But, my calling was to teach in public high schools. After teaching high school sciences for 14 years, I have taken up writing freelance. Now I work from home.
